Daniel Gomez: This place was lit 🔥 You don't just get to hit the bag, you learn some real techniques. Class was great and they have personal trainer sessions. I was also able to get a dope pair of power lock gloves and 120 wrist wraps. The gloves are real head turners, people keep asking me where i got them from. Will definitely be coming back here when I visit Medellin again.

Kyle Green: Just finished a boxing season with "The Wolf". I was nervous since my spanish isn't very strong, but everyone was really friendly and it was a lot of fun.
Kalle Nijs: Sadly I only had time for one free class here. Because I arrived early, they invited me to also try the acro-yoga class as a warm up. Everyone was very friendly, sparring was well organized and safe. Highly recommended!
Jimbo slice: This is not a MMA gym. This is where you go to pretend you are working out because you don't have discipline to go a regular gym by yourself. It entry level at best, you can burn some calories. The Thai boxing 🥊 and Western boxing 🥊 coach are very nice people and start class on time. However jujitsu classes were often cancelled with no reason or noticed. I once complained and the (older woman) at the front desk " looked at me, started to eat a 🍦, play Facebook and turned away" . I understand that my Spanish is little but I think 🤔 that was supposed to be disrespectful. Per month is 53$ USD and you too can be treated like this! Overall the people are nice but cannot recommend this place!

Nate Henderson: Had the pleasure of training here while I was in Medellin. Such a welcoming gym, with seriously good jiu-jitsu. I've traveled to many gyms and GJo is one of the best instructors I've ever met. His techniques are crisp, he pays a lot of attention to detail, and helps each of the students individually. My first 3 rolls I saw the same techniques demonstrated at different skill levels going white --> blue --> purple between his students. Truly an incredible experience, I will be back.
James Smith: Been going now for a few weeks. Absolutely fantastic place to train. Great quality of the instructor that he can give seemingly complicated techniques, break it down and walk you through it that your able to pick it up halfway through class. Fluent English and Spanish so you don't have to worry about a language barrier. Fellow students are great to work with as well, so the environment feels more like family training together. When it comes time to roll everyone puts in the work and we push to grow and learn without having it feel like your having to go 110% competition level. But you definitely will be exhausted by the end. Planning on being in Medellin for several months and I know that my game and technique will be the better for training here. I have travelled extensively around the world now from work and pleasure. And this is by far the best gym I have trained at.

ZERO TWENTY: Hands down the greatest gym in Medellín. I am not much of a GI guy however the coach is not only an expert tactician but an expert instructor, in both English and Spanish. The gym has high quality mats to compliment the high level guys & girls that train there. I picked where I'd move based on its location to the gym. Training here has been one of the best decisions I have made. It's making training in the GI much easier.

Phillip: I am very glad I found this place. The instruction is excellent. Yiyo is always willing to explain the techniques multiple times in Spanish and/or English if needed. The instructors make a conscientious effort to check everybody’s technique, even if there are a lot of people in a class. It seems like they want you to improve just as much as you do. Also, sometimes when dropping in a gym, it could feel awkward not knowing anyone, but I felt comfortable at this gym pretty quickly. A nice vibe. Definitely go there and try a few classes if you want some really good training.

Nicholas Balmas: Great gym in Medellin. The facilities are great and clean, the teaching is detailed and technical (in both Spanish and English) and combines a good balance between foundational and modern brazilian jiu jitsu. Rolls are also technical. Overall great gym, great instructor and great culture. Highly recommend!

Alex Cyrus: I attended my first BJJ class here. Not only was my experience great, but now I want to continue learning this tactical martial art. Classes are taught in both Spanish and English, which makes this school an excellent option for foreigners visiting or living in Medellin. If I ever happen to be in Medellin again, I will gladly return to Cobrinha!

aditya mishra: I am in Buenos Aires trying to find a good boxing gym, I have been to 3 here. In hindsight I realize how lucky I was to find this gym and the teacher of boxing. He and the community really help you learn the right technique. Anyone reading this, don't even think twice about joining this gym. I just wish I remembered the name of boxing teacher so I could give me a shout out. Thanks guys.

Bern Martinez: I think for sure this is the best martial Arts gym in Medellin. The facility itself is a good size and the equipment provided is elite. Also more importantly the trainers are very knowledgable and very friendly. The sessions themselves are a great workout and the boxing coach Matteo will for sure improve your boxing game. As an Australian who doesn't know much spanish, they made sure I felt comfortable and tended to whatever needs I had. Even when I hurt my shoulder during a sparring session they had their Physio Tomas apply treatment. When I return to Medellín I'll be sure to do some sessions here. I Can't recommend this gym enough.
