4worldlovers: Thank you for the outstanding service of the staff of the Marriott Medellin especially thanking Sneider from the Market and Francisco at the Executive Lounge. Hotel is on an excellent location and security is outstanding. My only complaint is that I was promised an upgrade for my 5 day stay and Front Desk did not follow-through and GM was absent. I am a Lifetime Platinum Marriott Guest and was very disappointed. Medellin a Lovely City with Great welcoming service and love to visitors.

Hotel stay was very good; however, for the Flowers Festival weekend the hotel was overbooked. The reservation was not respected as it was set up. The hotel gave us a room but not with the amenities expected.

All i seek is details on charges and which card was charged. I still don't have proper answers. Staff is extremely rude and have a very poor attitude towards patrons.

From 1 June to 2 June 2023 the charge was made to the completed card in 8444.

From 24 July to 2 August 2023 the charge was made to the completed card at 8200.

Regarding your membership points, these will be charged directly by Marriot to your agreement number as it is in our system.

Another great stay.. NAU was only minor disappointment. Food changed from last year's stay and quality seemed to be a bit down. Dining room manager on our last day, Aug 3rd, was amazing. He was well versed in menu, was great with recommended items and a pleasure to be around. Francisco was his usual great self in the exec lounge. Rooms were great as usual.


Location is convenient and a very affluent neighborhood. The staff is always friendly. How do you specially like to mention Mariano the head chef, Francisco, in the VIP lounge, Elkin in the market restaurant, and Gabriel in the coffee shop.

This is my fourth trip this year to Medellin and two this year and two last year. The staff recognizes me and I enjoy the location I feel safe.

I have over 600 nights with Marriott. This was a very nice stay! Clean space, modern, updated rooms, beautiful flowers, wonderful beds, nice breakfast included. Thank you!

The Medellin Marriott is in a great location. It's walking distance to shopping and just a cab ride away to some great restaurants. The staff is wonderful and go out of their way to help.
