Gusto Night Club: what do users think?

Varun Maharaj: It's alot better than the Coyote Discotech across the Street but still would not recommend to my Customers. It's more for Locals rather than Tourists. To someone like me who knows the language but pretends not to, I see the shady behaviors of people quickly. There are charges that escalate your bill that you might not expect so ASK about EVERYTHING each time you order. Security as always have no customer service skills and have a Terrible Attitude. Unlike Coyote Disco, they didn't add anything to my bill that I did not order. However the prices still are a bit high. Please note I DONT drink alcohol or smoke or use any substance so I'm 100% aware at all times. My job is to assess places of interest in Countries people in my country Want to visit. All in all, If you are going to this establishment, I would recommend fluent Spanish speakers and to go in groups. As there are shady customers Male and Female here as well. And we all know the stories of people slipping you stuff in drinks so please go as a group or if Solo, be a non drinker like me so you can be aware at ALL times.

ReviewbyV: This club is located right in Lleras parque. It's geared towards gringos and tourists as they play both reggaeton and rap music. It's about 20mil cover to get in and bottles prices can vary.

Phillip Graham: Not worth the money in the slightest lollllllllllllll music is old and played out , females ??? Lol haha don’t waste your time and money lol

Dimitrius Dudley: Americans!!! Caution: The price of alcohol is on par with U.S. prices. Especially in their VIP. You pay around $240 for a VIP section and it come with a bottle. Any additional bottles are extra (as expected). However, there must be a lot of hidden fees that’s added on, as the price of the same bottle came up to $300. I’m not sure if this is the normal or if they finessed us for being Americans. So ask what the total on your additional bottle will be before you open it. Aside from that it’s a very nice club! Our group was dressed to impress and Gustos staff treated us well. Four ⭐️ only due to the expensive alcohol.

RAHUL MADAN: Trust me , all negative reviews are correct and true. Rip off disco. Any good review definitely has to be by their own patrons. Definitely avoid this place. Super over priced and you get over charged for everything

JOSE LOPEZ: they took advantage of us not knowing the exchange rate … charged us over 2,000 dollars for 2 bottles and a hookah

Trevor Fairchild: One of the worst, most evil clubs in all of Colombia. Locals know this is the #1 spot to get drugged with scopolamine and robbed. Never, ever go to this club there are many amazing places in Medellin you can explore, stay safe don't support criminals.

Jephthah Woods: Bruh I'll be the one to let you guys know what's up since no other left the pricing details and comparison. To start it cost 20 million cop to enter. The ladies here are not models but they charge model prices they are asking for dollars not pesos. And they expect you to pay MINIMUM $200 DOLLARS FOR HER TIME. The club itself is decent the bartender I met was the most attractive on Tuesday night. The women here on average out of ten is five or six I seen some better looking ones but they were asking$350 dollars. For this prices you can go to la Isla and get her for the night and these are model type women but they do try to fitness. I didn't drink here or buy a bottle I left after the women try to rip me off. If you want clap 👏 something fast look around the park and nearby bars you can find anything from 19 to 33yo the asking prices starts around 200 Mill for hour make sure your hotel is guess friend Charlee charges extra $45 dollars per guess. They do have a nice balcony. Comparison to la Isla Ladies there will do a tip walk Here not so much Ladies there are more attractive than here not so much but you will see some decent if someone hasn't grab them already Ladies here doesn't know or know very little English laides there some but they usually in hand demand by English speakers Anyone question ask

Florianne van Zanten: Terrible club, it was sooo expensive!! Also we made a short video of ourselves (selfie-video) because we were in the club and then a random man who was dancing with ladies came to us that we had to delete the video and threatened to kill us us if we did not do it. Althought we did not film any of these people… Very unpleasant experience.. many questionable people..

frantz laguerre: The experience was worth it. A little pricy but rightfully so.

Ali: Book shelf speakeasy vibe was cool. Get there early if you want a table / server and a spot to hang out at. It gets packed. Music was trash tho, wouldn’t go back.

Jose R Sola Villalon: Small nightclub charging a cover fee, not the most interesting one, overpriced drinks and terrible music. Avoid and go spend your money somewhere else.

josephine echeverri: The places is pretty and the music is really good but the service is terrible. I contacted them one day prior my visit to make a reservation and they promise that since it was celebration they were gonna give me two free entrences plus some alcohol. I explain all the details and even mentioned that my birthday wasn’t the same exact day. When I got there they didn’t honored anything no even with the texted messages. They were very rude about it too. Terrible Custumer service.

Jorge G. Quintero: It was 2018 I saw alot of action in that corner. A line to get in but no problem I was shortly going up the stairs, somone opened a bookshelf door, walking into that was perfect, it was packed with music beauty laughter drinks and Saturday night. At the bar got a drink and enjoyed the night for some time. Later I went outside to the front patio to have another view and met a girl that was smoking, we had a few great conversations. The place offered a free cup of warm soup. We both had one each per her request, hit the spot. She invited me to her table, her friends generous and funny. They had a bottle of Guaro. We took several shots. I got them a round of drinks and beers. Good times.

Daniel Eduardo Barreto Cuartas (D4n3bU): Excelent place to have a really goosd time dancing and fiends... And if you want to learn to dance Salsa or Bachata hou will find free classes some days.

Angelos: The beautiful vibe, the service and the dancers visiting make this place amazing. Karol is the superstar of that place, lighting up the place with her line ups and beautiful energy. Ask her for a dance if you can and you won't regret it :)

stefano corti: Great little hidden away place, with free random dance classes, and lots of locals.

AleJo Povea: Really nice place to party with friends, and a place to learn how to dance also.

Timothy Reese: Great Dance Club it with salsa and Merengue lessons! Very fun and cheap drinks!
Response: We will always be ready to listen and always improve. Go to www.socialclubacademia.com Find out about our programming of #Free Classes, #Events and Offers of new courses. We are waiting for you at SocialCLUB 😍

Juan Esteban Agudelo: It's excellent, I have been in several classes and they are great, right now the only thing missing is more ventilation

SHIYA1017: What a great place. We dances till 3. Great dance show, wonderful birthday celebration. This is also a dance studio by day. Lots of fun

Portland Local: Lots of fun, Bachata much easier than salsa

Sam Clark: My favorite place to learn salsa and bachata! Thursday nights can be hit or miss depending how many people come out; you could have every seat to yourself or not be able to get in. There also seems to be zero consistency or publication of what events happen on which days or when they start. You could easily find yourself sitting around for an hour one week or late to a class the next. Still a good crowd, great instructors, and fun during the week.

Konrad Lentschig: its a very nice and open disco under the bridge. mostly young crowed and all kind of Latin-Americans dance style.

Son Havana Bar: what do users think?

Luis Ortiz Mosquera: Incredible live salsa! The night I went they had a band with a Cuban singer who was so talented. Played a good mix of classic covers. It’s a small place, but everyone dances wherever they can find room. It was a really fun night and I highly recommend visiting if you want to dance/listen to real salsa. Can’t say much about the drinks because I just danced the whole time but they sell beer, liquor bottles, etc

Luis Lopez: Looooved it. The atmosphere, ambiance, drinks, and most importantly great SALSA!! Live music with great musicians. Staff and the people were all amazing. Can't wait to go back.

Eduardo Arturo Martí: I'm a dancer, and there was no room to dance, Live music was awesome. I can tell I had a good time in on my 2 sqft, Staff treated me really well, I can tell... I guess their main business is selling drinks...

Jeff Hoogs: Decent small venue to listen to live salsa music. It can get so crowded and loud: they could barely fit anyone else in the door. They give free classes, which is great but it’s less of a lesson and more like teaching a routine if your already a decent dancer.

amatrice band: We went there on a Thursday night. They have a very limited beer selection. 15mil cover fee at the door. The band started 1.5 hr late. The acoustics is not good as the sound is bounding from the concrete walls. Majority foreigners. The band had good musicians but with an old and tired repertoire. I guess they don’t get paid that much to play timba or songs with harder arrangement. Beer costs between 8000-10000 COP. Things pick up around 12:30-1:00 am. Wont go there on a Thursday night. Maybe its better on a weekend night

Nicole Pasricha: Great live salsa music and dancing in a small and cozy space.

Jose Gutierrez: Very good music. A great place to dance good salsa. The music band is very good. If you go to this place, go when there is a live concert. There are no menus, so the prices for the licors they sell are not very transparent. You don't know if they are charging you more money than others. However is a small good place to dance. I recommend you to make a reservation before going, because it may be full.

Ian Casey: Super live salsa bar, get there pre show to secure seating or hope there is room at the bar, magnificent band played, tons of energy.

Marcela Brand: If you are looking for a place to dance salsa and get a real experience, look no further, this is the place to go!

Ethan Illfelder: Awesome Cuban themed bar, good drinks, live music is 👌 $20K entry.

Calle 9+1: what do users think?

Naomi Adams: I read this club was touristy but it seemed a mainly local crowd last Friday and it was a nice atmosphere. Casual dress code - women wearing jeans with a dressy top or black dresses and all in trainers or low heeled boots. It’s quite small - only two rooms - at the back is the cocktail bar area, for smoking / chilling and then the main room with a bigger bar and DJ booth. Entry was 20,000, drinks are from 6000 (beer) and cocktails start from 20,000.. you can also buy bottles & half bottles - I think the half bottles were from 19000...Other reviews said it was hot but they had the air con up really high so it wasn’t an issue. At the end of the night the staff were amazing as they ordered us a taxi and made sure we got in the right car to get home safely. We had a great night!

Royce Cho: Great service at the bars, good vibes. Two rooms so you can pick from different music. The main room is really warm and the sound system is loud but not great quality. Security at the door is pretty chill. There is a cover ($20k) and they lightly pat you down.

Santiago Lopez: Awful place!!… it’s like an oven inside, they Are letting in as much people as possible, they don’t have covid protocols. Looks like a place ran by amateurs. DJs do not feel the vibe of the people. Do not recommend at all

Joshua Ratcliff: Had a Friday and Saturday night here. Friday was excellent. Saturday was a bit disappointing. I think that enjoyment is very dependent on the DJ and crowd present. Good mix of locals and tourists. Best place we were able to find in the Poblado area.

Finn Andersen: Absolutely delicious little rave room

Douglas Fugazi: Calle 9+1 is the best HOUSE discoteque in Medellin. If you want to dance and to know new nice people. Come to Calle 9+1. Probably all nights you can to listen too many good electronic music as HOUSE, TECHNO, MINIMAL, TECH HOUSE, DISCO. If you are looking for nice dance music. Calle 9+1 is the best place!

R F: Only 1/2 decent electro club in lleras. I went on Thursday & Saturday. Sat was BUMPIN, but the DJ talent & lighting could use a serious upgrade. Place is a bit grundgy, but the service & party community were great

Luke Kenyon: 15000 entry and beers are 7000. It’s not that large and a lot of gringos

Marieke Verschoor: When we were here, there was really nice electronic disco music, nice ambiance, a lot of gringos tho, but we had a great time here

David Velasco: The customer service is really bad, they don't care about the people who is inside, this place doesn't provide a good quality experience, alcohol prices are somewhat high for the type of place that is, and the djs are only begginers.

Julius Waldegg: The music was alright but it was too crowded, mostly men using their phones while standing on the dance floor instead of actually dancing. The club seems to rather take the extra revenue instead of rejecting people and making sure the atmosphere inside is enjoyable. Too many bright lights as well, just really unfitting when you're trying to get lost dancing. Paid 50k Pesos to get in, which is still alright for gringos that are used to European clubs, but not reasonable for locals. At least the personnel was friendly and there was no waiting line. Still, overall a rather disappointing experience.

Esther MN: Music wise this place is amazing, my last time in the city I went there like 4 times and everytime the music was amazing, specially a night of only female djs, they all killed it. There is a bartender downstairs that wears glasses who was always super nice to us, we loved her! Now the crowd can be a bit meh, unless you're with a cool group that enjoys dancing and knows how to make space then it's cool, also the closest to the dj booth the most spacious it feels. Didn't see anyone wearing sunglasses even tho the lasers and lights are crazy (in a good way), and even tho it's not a bad atmosphere it still didn't feel like a proper rave crowd. The second floor is nice when it's not super crowded, the smoking area can get too stuffy. Overall I think it's a good place to visit if you love hard techno, better to go on Thursday rather than during the weekend.

Aften Kane: One of the best EDM clubs in Medellin. Two floors, main dance area is on first floor, bar and chill area upstairs

Eline van Megen: One star for the dj’s! The dj’s were quite good and creative, but overall the club is the worst place I’ve ever been to, to be honest. If you like techno and the techno scene, be prepared to have a bad time here. Vip tables and a really stuck up crowd contribute to a bad vibe. The lighting is also terrible and it feels like you’re in a really tacky club with techno/house music. It is all about seeing and being seen in this club, do not go here if you just want to have a good time.

Omer Kalderon: Best club in Medellin. Amazing sound system, really great DJs and amazing atmosphere.

COSMIC 1: They have some great international electronic artists from time to time but the space is not very large for dancing and to make matters worse they put tables throughout the place which really breaks up the dancefloor and makes things awkward. The sound system is good but not great. Add to that the clientele and it leaves me wanting more, especially on a weekend. This place could pass for a midweek party but needs to step up its game to be worthy of weekend status.

Matthias Schmittmann: Very good experience of having a tasting menu accompanied by great service and atmosphere. They are very conscious about Amazon’s culture, so you don’t just learn about food but also about the region. The presentation of the dishes is very impressive and creative.

Anna Li: Not a bad club - located in the city center. Music is tech house. Can get full. Women don’t pay up to a certain time of the night. Service is friendly and drinks are strong 💪🏼

Mark Ruiz: It is a good place for lovers of good electronic music. However, there is no place to store the coats. the service is good, but sometimes it's annoying, because they want you to drink the whole bottle of liquor in seconds so you can buy another one.

Joshua Ratcliff: Had a very disappointing evening here. Not a good spot for a tourist despite how good the DJ might be that night. It felt like we were intruding on a local elite's private party. Tables in the centre of the dancefloor were odd and annoying. Bailed fairly early despite paying an expensive cover charge.

Vanessa Concepcion: First time in this nightclub, drinks are good and the atmosphere is perfect. Good variety of music played, VIP option offered which was a good option for us.

Hector Concepcion: Went to the club side of this place on a Monday night, no cover charge. Play good music that my wife and dance too all night. Reggaeton, salsa, vallenato, merengue, etc. Highly recommended.

Juan David Ospina: It's a good discotec. Two places, one only with reggaeton music and another with a mix between Reggaeton and Latin Music. It's expensive and I think probably exist better options near.

Ivan Duarte: A complete nightmare! We made reservation for the VIP spot 4 days before, and when we arrived there, they just didn’t care, it was for my best friend’s birthday party, it was a mess, very rude people inside, and they just care for more money even when that means less quality and less space to dance and enjoy for the clients. There is a lot to improve. I do not recommend this space, go to another Reggaeton bar in the area, there are much better ones!

Ricardo Dominguez: Great place, good music and drinks are fine.

Tom Kruijff: Tried to put my and my brothers name on the list but is was ‘not nessesary’. When we arrived we were blocked and could not go in because we were ‘boys only’. What a bad place this is to go out. Security is not friendly at all

Felipe Useche: Nice ambiance, really good music (props to the dj) but overpriced, definitely caters to expats, tourists and people who won’t mind spending 40,000 for a mixed drink. Also, one of the bartenders was pretty rude. We had a really good night, but couldn’t shake off the service and the prices from our heads.

Michael Fox: I was recommended this place but bouncer and staff are rude and didn’t let me get in even if I was dressed appropriately.

Julian Cadavid: If you are looking to dance reggaeton music this a great place. Go to the lower room (Super 8) Prices are a little bit high but worthy overall. Good sound, good energy and great party.

Mike: Still under final construction work but looks like a very hip and promising new place here.
Response: Thanks for your rating!

Charles Naut: Really fun place for a night out. It is a bit of a mix of a show and club. There are tables for you to sit at and you have to order at least a bottle but it's cheap. You can also order snacks and small meals. There are entertainers that sing and dance for you throughout the night with plenty of moments of audience participation. There is also time for you to just dance with friends and others there.

Charlrs ChuckyD: I LOVE this place. It has a 10 mil pesos cover charge and with that you get non stop entertainment from comedians to show girls to singers as well as typical Colombian music. Many birthday celebrations.A large place that stays crowded.A must see one time adventure. Only Spanish spoken here.price went up to 20 mil per person entrance as of 40 Dec but still well worth it

Jay Ventura (Indio): what a great place to visit and enjoy with friends. (to access you can't use shorts or sandals if you are a man.

Carlos Puello: Best place in Medellin to celebrate my birthday. I really love the place.Thank you for the best party I ever have.I will recommend this place to all my friends.

Esteban Balvin: Good and authentic Colombian party, great music and atmosphere. It is not very suitable for very young people. It is overpriced but worthy. Limited liquors options for sale.

Marcos Castrillon: This place was Fantastic and the Dj was Amazing.I would recommend this Club to everybody, is Great.

Don Sisas: This is a most stop place if you visit Medellin. I had an amazing time. Go vip to get the best experience!!

Heber A Recinos: Excellent party nice shows and music

Sandra Negrón: The most tackiest, loudest, packed- like sardines kind of restaurant/bar/club. It's stage has a dancing pole and the MC enticing supposively drunkened patrons to make a fool of themselves....the place is ok to visit one time...a been there, done that kind of place. The only thing that's cool are the neon lights in the joint. Enter in your own risk.

Rachel Cantor: This place is so kitschy and fun. Went for the after party of my brother's wedding and it was a blast. All of the wait staff is dressed up as toys.

Brian Freeman: I call this place the hump hump club, and it's one of my favorites. It's all dirty dancing and cheap drinks. 10k entrance fee

Eduardo Forte: Stay away if you speak English, or even say a word in English, the guy at the front door will tell you that the place is full, and then let other people in once you turn away, Luxury Club across street is more friendly, you be the judge.

Stiven Sanmartin Jaramillo: It's a great place, they play just urban music and the alcoholic drinks are cheap

Charlotte: Good techno/house music, staff was friendly and cover charge reasonable. First floor has a nice view and is cooler than ground floor. Only downside is price of drinks (60k for vodka red bull)

Samantha: Stoked to find a good techno house club in Medellin! Base was bumping, got more packed around 2 am, cover was like 18 USD

james M: The waiters are a bit racist against non Colombians. The dishes we ordered came after 1 hour and 30 minutes whilst locals who came later received their food well before us. The food portions were big, but the food we ordered had hair in it. Apart from that, the location is nice and unassuming with good atmosphere, good music, and good views of the city.

B Bedrosian: It gets bumpin and busy. Overall It's a hit n miss. Been there when it's dead then suddenly a pack of 20 will crash the place and it gets crazy.

Rene Huijsman: Location is well designed. Good sound and visuals. But on the dance floor there are just tables with people that buy expansive bottles. If you like an underground techno party, this might be to mainstream/posh/poser for you. Would recommend Heard From or 881 more for underground party vibe.

Erley Calle: Love this place to go and have fun with friends, prices are correct and service is good too

Voogle Industries: The club was nice. But there were 3 guys in the corner all night looking like they were waiting to scopolamine or rob a tourist. The crowd moved away from them, but they continued to scope out the place. A shame the club didn’t kick them out. We had to watch our backs, pockets, and drinks all night, and decided to leave early out of safety.

Nadir Yehmed: Great music. Expansive prices. Dirty bathrooms

Kren_G_: My favorite club to listen to electronic, progressive, etc... Do you wanna join us to the bar hopping? Follow us on Instagram: “barhopping Medellín" and go to the best bars in El poblado.

Joseph Novitzki: It was just ok. Decent music and lights. My problem was that after showing be the bill they overcharged me by approximately 100,000 COP. I realized this when I compared my picture of the receipt with my bank statement the next day. Crooks...
Response: Hi Joseph could you please send us the reciept to this whatsapp +573053333903 and to this mail admin@sonorama.com.co an pleaae tell us the situation. Sorry for the inconvenient.

Chris Camacho: Amazing. Nothing to complain. Good music. People. Vibe. Drinks at good price. Good attention

juan esteban Restrepo: The best nightclub in Medellín and Provence, Reggaeton for everyone

Isis Plazas: The atmosphere the day we went was not so cool, and they only had Don Julio 70 for shots

Jessica Redondo: This album is great, pure reggaeton all night long. The concept is super cool.

Daniel Calle Lopez: Excellent, if what you want is to dance regaetón

Discoteca Brutal Medellin: what do users think?

Funmibi Folorunso: This is not an inclusive place for non-alcoholic drinkers who just want to have a dance and non-alcoholic drinks. We were being forced to buy a 1l bottle of rum (+entrance fees) to gain entrance into the club. It felt like pressuring people to drink alcohol

Donovan Barron: Lots of fun, great people, and good music!

Angel Nungaray: They try to take advantage of foreigners. We were drinking beers on a slow night and they were pressuring us to buy a bottle or to leave. It was the 1st time I ever went with American friends. Make sure you know the price of what you order beforehand.

Jorge Robledo: Good music and emergy however the air-conditioned system is either not working or not powerfull enough for the place. It is too hot !

jonathan m. Toyens: Regular service, Good pricesNot bad music

Jamie Diamond: This place is firing on all cylinders. Come early as they will have a line and or be at capacity.

Sebastian Rueda Marin: Very nice, full reggaeton. A great Medellín experience.

David J: Really horrible place

Guadalupe Morelos: Normal

leidy rios: Super

Vintrash: what do users think?

johana Cubillos: Cool to meet people the Tuesday, to dance and the mojito it is good, there is not cover before 7pm. I suggest to set some salsa or bachata sometimes.

Kren_G_: Good music and service. My Instagram kren_g if you want to know more about things to do in Medellin.

Tavo: People there was kind, I went to this place to practice my speaking skill and it was good good new acquaintance.

Ben Larry: Be careful with the bartenders and get your receipts. If you pay by card they sometimes tell you it didn't work and want you to pay again even if it is booked on your card.

Dirk Tijssen: It's all right, nothing special to be honest.

Connor Siem: A lot of people loved it I just wasn’t the biggest fan cause of how packed and sweaty it was.

Oriana Rojas: Best place to party if you want to listen/dance reggaeton. They put the best music

David van Eerd: Most ridiculous bar i've ever been to. You pay 30k to get in and then they block all the stairs/walking routes inside the bar so you're basically trapped. They say they do it because it is full but then they were still letting new people pay to get in. This bar is literally a tourist trap.

Hans Meier: I told the Barkeeper that I wish not to pay the Servicio voluntario but he still charged it. When I saw and told him he refused to refund me the money.

BJ Cruz (Ned): Fun place. Good party, however more expensive than other places

787 Club Medellín: what do users think?

Alvaro Jose Sanabria: Forced to buy at least 5 bottles of liquor, costing up to 700.000 pesos for just 10 people. Not to mention they keep you waiting in line even though they are already "open and empty.' Wouldn't recommend at all. We stayed for just 20 minutes.

Georg Schmidinger: The best Place ti hace a Great Night. People and waiters are super friendly and the manager Mateo does an amazing job!! We will come back!

Kren_G_: One of my favorites bars.

Felipe Quesada: 🔥🔥

jajaja Javier Valencia: Super

Pablo Duque: The place is quite spacious and has a stage, a bar, a second floor and spacious and well-maintained bathrooms. When I went (October 2022) the entry cover was 20,000. The only bad thing is that they don't let anything in, I had a box of gum and they made me throw it away at the entrance, as well as cigarettes, vaporizers and water. (Bottle of water on site was worth me 11,000)

susana raigoza orrego: Simply horrible, the attention to people was lousy, at the time I was in the place they made us remove from the table (it was not VIP) 2 times to put other people, regular environment, and to take into account the prices I they charged 30 thousand pesos for 2 club colombia beers

Juliana Ruiz: It is a place for a tasty little dog and to sing the songs at the top of your lungs, it also has a very good space

Jose Manuel Garces Garcia: Very comfortable place, open and neat space, prices are in line with its location, it has good ventilation, I recommend the club

Ander Velez: Excellent place, very good atmosphere, excellent sound and brutal music, and very affordable prices
